1. Our 100-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
At Safe Summer, we are confident in the quality of our SafeSleep Pillow. That is why we offer a 100-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase within 100 days of delivery, we will work with you to make it right, provided the conditions below are met.
2. Guarantee Conditions
To be eligible under our 100-day guarantee, the following conditions must be met:
2.1 Product Condition
• The pillow must be in a normal usage state, consistent with regular nightly use
• Excessive wear and tear beyond normal use, physical damage caused by misuse, or damage from improper washing (above 40 degrees Celsius / 110 degrees Fahrenheit, or machine drying) are not covered
• The pillow does not need to be in its original packaging after the 14-day withdrawal period
2.2 Solution Trial Process
When you contact us with a complaint or return request, our support team will first identify a solution tailored to your specific concern. Before a refund is approved, we ask that you give that solution a genuine try. The process works as follows:
• Step 1: Contact us at support@safe-summer.com with your order number and a description of the issue
• Step 2: Our support team responds with a personalised solution within 2 business days
• Step 3: You try that solution for 7 days
• Step 4: If you are still not satisfied after those 7 days, your refund is approved. Alternatively, at our mutual agreement, you may try one further solution for a maximum of one additional 7-day period
• Step 5: If a second solution period was agreed and you remain unsatisfied after it, your refund is approved without further conditions
The maximum combined trial period is 14 days across two solution attempts. We will never request more than two solution periods. This process is designed so we can genuinely help you get the best result from your pillow, not to delay or complicate a legitimate refund.
3. EU Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
If you are an EU consumer, you also have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving any reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. This right applies regardless of the 7-day trial requirement above.
To exercise your right of withdrawal:
• Contact us at support@safe-summer.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and your intent to return
• Return the product within 14 days of notifying us
• The product must be unused and in its original packaging for this statutory withdrawal right to apply
We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method as the original purchase.
4. How to Initiate a Return
• Email us at support@safe-summer.com with your order number, a description of your concern, and (where applicable) photos
• Our support team will respond within 2 business days with next steps
• If your return is approved, we will provide a return shipping label or instructions
• Once we receive and inspect the item, we will confirm your refund or replacement
5. Return Shipping
• Return shipping is free for all approved returns within our 100-day guarantee
• We will provide a prepaid return label upon approval of your return request
• For the EU 14-day statutory withdrawal, return shipping is also covered by Safe Summer
6. Defective or Damaged Products
If your SafeSleep Pillow arrives damaged or defective, contact us at support@safe-summer.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. You are protected by the 2-year statutory legal guarantee under EU consumer law regardless of our 100-day policy.
7. Refund Processing
• Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving and approving the returned item
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method
• Original order value is refunded in full; shipping was free so there are no shipping costs to deduct
8. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different size, please return your original item for a refund and place a new order. Available sizes: Queen, King, and Euro Sham.
